Help Shape the Future of the East Sussex Pension Fund as an Independent Person

Do you have a strong track record in pension governance, trusteeship, investment oversight, and scheme administration?

Have you got expert insights into the Local Government Pension Scheme?

We’re seeking an Independent Person to support and advise across all aspects of East Sussex Pension Fund’s activities to enable us to continue bringing long-term benefits to our members, employers and other stakeholders.

If you are an experienced pensions professional within either the public or private sector we would like to hear from you. The right person will be able to:

·       Test and review the expert advice, data, and investment strategies provided to the pension’s committee

·       Support transparency, decision-making and accountability in line with national LGPS governance reforms

·       Advise across investment pooling, funding arrangements, administration, and overall operational performance

This new role is in response to the Government’s Fit for the Future reforms and the amended legislation to the LGPS Regulations.

Please note, applicants must not be employed by, have a contractual relationship with, or hold a financial interest in any organisation that provides paid services to the Fund.
